Battery Chargers
Train Lighting Battery Chargers (TLBC)
Charging train lighting systems at depots and yards.
Overview
As the name indicates, TLBC are used in charging train lighting batteries at depots and yards.
Applications
Train lighting battery charging at depots and yards
Advantages
Precise engineering design
Easy maintenance
Longer service life
Resistance against abrasion
Reliable performance
Key Features
Common O/P voltage controller
Battery current limiting for each battery path, sized to suit batteries simultaneously
Each battery string is protected independently, so batteries of different capacities can be charged on the same unit without one path overcharging or affecting another.
Input high voltage disconnect and battery low voltage disconnect
Automatically isolates the unit on abnormal input voltage or a deeply discharged battery, protecting both the charger and the battery bank.
Audible alarm on low battery bank voltage
Indication through bright LEDs or multi-point facia facility
